Covid-19 Protocols

The Westside Physio team is working tirelessly to keep our clinic environment safe. Our PPE and sanitizing policies go above and beyond what is required by the BC Physio College and we hope this makes you feel comfortable coming in for your visit. If you prefer a Telehealth appointment, this is always available to you.

All our patients are screened prior to their initial appointment, through our online intake form. We ask that you complete a short questionnaire responding to our pertinent COVID-19 questions (in line with the BC Self Assessment tool). Should any of your answers to these questions alert a potential issue prior to your first visit or any follow up visit we ask that you call our clinic to seek advice or reschedule your appointment.

Steps we are taking in clinic:

We are following an extensive safety plan that was put together taking into account WSBC, BC Physio College, and Interior Health Guidelines.

Our administrative staff will sanitize all common surface areas regularly in accordance with our WSBC safety plan.

Your therapist will clean their room including treatment table and chair between each patient. They are also required to clean their hands between all patients and to wear a medical grade surgical mask and visor when social distancing is not possible.

All staff members must assess their health in a daily “fit for work screening” prior to beginning each work shift.

Please do not enter our office if:

  • Are experiencing or displaying any symptoms of COVID-19
  • You have travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days
  • Have been identified by Public Health as a close contact of someone with COVID-19
  • Have been told to self isolate by Public Health

Masks are mandatory for all adult patients in our office space, please arrive with your mask on, thank you!

Please sanitize your hands on arrival into the clinic.

You will be asked to remain socially distant in our waiting room. If you have arrived more than 5 minutes early to your appointment we ask that you wait in your vehicle prior to coming in.

Patients that require a parent or caregiver for safety reasons are permitted into the office, all other individuals accompanying a patient to their visit must wait in their vehicle

Thank you for your cooperation!
